We love making a difference. Whether it’s to a business, a career, or our staff. We invest heavily in our staff to ensure we do recruitment the right way in order to offer the best service to our candidates and clients. Perhaps that’s why we have so many longstanding relationships, staff that have been with us on our journey since the beginning, and quite a few clients that were once candidates, because we always value long-term interests over short-term gains.
Making the right match.
We recruit specifically within the technology industry. Helping you fill permanent and contract positions with experienced and talented candidates in a way that best suits your business.
Born in Ashton in Makerfield, and moved to Golborne when I was 8. Since then there’s been an ongoing argument. Is Golborne under the Wigan, or Warrington district? Surely there’s some mistake here? I never really had much of an idea about what I wanted from life, and then in 2013, I moved into recruitment. It’s fair to say that I’ve never looked back. I’m a keen angler but it’s fair to say, as many do. I’m not very good at it.
My home life:
2 kids, a Mrs and a dog called Bella. A massive passion for the outdoors, which drives the family crazy. If I was given a choice I would live in a cave. Pure bliss (and peace and quiet).
“Be yourself; everyone else is taken”
I spent 6 years training Muay Thai, and still couldn’t fight my way out of a wet paper bag.
Born and bred in sunny Warrington, I went to collage to study business studies but then decided to go into employment instead of Uni. I like to think I’m a positive and friendly person who has always loved to talk, so working in recruitment fits quite well! I like to travel and in my younger days spent a year travelling Asia, Australia and New Zealand. I have a new found love for Italy and have visited a number of places in the country. The culture is incredible but I think subconsciously, it’s the food and wine that draws me in.
My home life:
A wife and a Poodle, what more do you need? My weekends usually consist of long walks, trips to the Peaks or the Lakes and watching the football. I do have the odd knock off golf every so often. I like to think I’m quite good, although my scorecard usually provides me with a stark reality.
Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares?... He’s a mile away and you’ve got his shoes!
Whilst travelling Thailand I spent 2 night in the mountains of Chang Mai with the Karen hill tribe.

With my beauty therapy national diploma in hand, I started working in a high end salon, then found this wasn’t the life for me. I then proceeded to manage a busy pub in the Wigan area, where I found my love of alcohol and nighlife! Fast forward 5 years I was a Business Development coach in a worldwide known telecommunications business which then lead me to the life of recruitment. Still fairly new to the game but enjoying it and excited where the business is going!
My home life:
2 kids, and a partner, (so 3 kids). We enjoy taking long walks with the dog, and we are all foodies so constantly arguing about what to have for tea each night. I enjoy Zumba, have to burn those cheese stuffed crusts off some how, and lastly I have found a new love of redecorating.
YOLO!!!! I will eat all that cake because You Only Live Once!
I was a Padbrat throughout my childhood, allowing us to live in many different countries while my dad served in the Royal Air Force.
“Progress Talent handled my placement excellently, always there to answer questions as they came up even after our initial one to one meeting. They left no stone un-turned and I have no hesitation recommending them.”MikeTechnical Director
“Progress Talent are by far the best recruiters I've worked with. They are very approachable, prompt and always worked around my schedule to keep me in the loop. I would recommend working with Progress Talent.”JamesSoftware Developer
“Excellent. Listened and responded in a timely fashion, only provided appropriate candidates after listening to the brief rather than just hearing and paying lip service. Give Progress a call you won’t be disappointed.”SebastianGeneral Manager
“After applying for one of Progress Talent's advertised jobs they moved quickly to call and discuss it with me. The process was quick and easy with them and they were in constant communication to let me know where the process was up to. After having bad experiences with recruiters I can tell you they are one of the only recruiters who I have come across who has really listened to what I needed and what the company needed.”StephanieDelivery Manager
